Titel: El agua es nuestra ícarajo!
16 track compilation of various Mexican and indigenous artists (all performing and singing in Spanish) benefiting the work of Catas. Catas is a coordinating group consisting of various collectives and individuals involved in community projects focused on preventative health and appropriate technology in Chiapas. All proceeds from the sale of this CD go to benefit Catas' clean water programs. Most of the artists involved (performing in a wide variety of musical styles, from folk to hip-hop to ska to theatrical skits) donate songs about water, and struggle too! Contributors include Carlos Vives, Toto la Momposina, Astrud Gilberto, Mano Negra, Guillermo Velazquez y Los Leones de la Sierra, El Gran Combo, El Cabrero, Lila Downs, Mauricio Diaz and Cafe Tacuba.
