The most prolific writer of the British Solidarity group (1961-1992), his work slaughtered count-less sacred cows of standard leftist thinking. He wrote with passion, clarity, and consistency on behalf of worker self-activity and self-management and to decry those “socialists” who reinforced passivity, hierarchy, and alienation among workers.
