With whales, singing

12.50

The publication is a compilation of email correspondences between Laura and Mira discussing ableism, able-bodied blindness to disability and animal autonomy, as well as, voice and how it is stripped and enforced in contexts of disabled advocacy. This is all beautifully woven with the dialogues about the high frequency songs of the loneliest whale in the world (the 52 Hertz whale).
Infused with the text of the correspondence are drawings of whales by Nicolai Schmelling, poetry verses and quotes relating to mentioned citations within the emails. Limited edition of 150 copies.
